GEEK CHARMING

Last Saturday (January 28 2012), I watch this movie called GEEK CHARMING. It a Disney channel original movie , to tell you this is the second Disney channel original that I loved after Lemonade Mouth so GO DISNEY!, it's about a girl named Dylan whose only dream is to win Blossom Queen and a guy named Josh who only wants to shot films. In an unfortunate event where Josh saves Dylan's leather bag from a very terrible experience in a mall fountain, Dylan agreed to star in Josh's documentary on school popularity which means a free campaign for Dylan and a whole lot of trouble for Josh who had no more ideas. The story goes with them fighting then continuing the project then there's the whole Josh make over that you cannot miss. The story ends with how the movie turned out but I'm not telling you that part, you gotta find that out for yourselves so watch it. I fell in love with it so I googled it the next day and was ecstatic to find out that the lead stars Matt Prokop of High School Musical 3 and Sarah Hyland of Modern Family were real life sweethearts who were in a 2.7 year relationship, this made me love the movie more so you guys better watch too
.

PROM Update : 1

I wanted to start off rewriting in this blog in a very special day but then I figured that I have to be the one to make it special like how I asked my date for prom.
I planned to ask him on a Saturday or a Friday but definitely not a Thursday, I mean, what big thing happens on a Thursday?
So it was decided that I'd ask him at any of those days but the thing that wasn't decided yet was if I'd actually ask him. This is one of the downfalls in attending an all girls school, you're the one who gets humiliated in front of a boy and is endanger with the big "NO".
Imagine spending a whole two hours in front of the bathroom mirror practicing your "...will you go with me to prom?" line and then getting a NO! , it's a total riff off, good thing that didn't happen to me. Sure he was hesitant at first but..., let's just say I have amazing persuasive powers. So there you go, I finally got a date and it's 5 weeks before the prom. My dress is ready and my make up as well as my hair, I think, but there is still a long way to go like the soiree on Feb. 18 which is a day with your partner activity. I already planned out what to wear, my dark blue Particles blouse, Levi jeans, brown bag and silver flats ( a big THANK YOU to my friends who gave the last two) and band-aids (in case of unfortunate blisters), it's not that I'm nervous his just my friend after all but you can never be to careful.
So lesson learned, practice what to say before you ask a boy to be your date even if his just your friend because it is so embarrassing and your the one who make each day special, problem is that I don't remember that day...
Well, I'll try to keep on posting updates on my journey to a perfect prom and hopefully it'll turn out to be a night I'll never forget.

January 30, 2012...

okay, to tell you the only reason why I made this blog was because our journalism teacher told us to but in the past couple of days I've been wanting to write (well, technically, type) about a lot of things.
It's my last year in high school and I think that it might be fun documenting it, not like my scrapbook isn't enough but I just really feel like doing it so here goes...
